I don't know what to say here. These are some crazy-ass, super-talented Seattle people - -never heard of you, but I love you. Thank you.

No, that's a joke. I met Wayne when he was in residence at Montalvo in that the Mercury wrote about his project, a through-composed work, an oratorio based on Wallace Stegner's book about Joe Hill, the labor leader and singer-songwriter. Wayne and I had several long conversations about marketing this important work - and we still owe the world more than the two and only two live shows on this piece, in Seattle - at Earshot and in Vermont.
Wayne was booked with a different combo to play Earthwise's Mitchell Park Series in April, 2020, but that got cancelled by the Covid-19 pandemic.
So naturally he was invited to make good with some internet bubble-session music and this is how they delivered. Lion says "ROAR".
My original query to Wayne was in March, 2005, sixteen years ago. Proving that good things come to those who wait. Or as they say in Proverbs 27:17, iron clings to iron, my friend.
